SCO return to Turner Sims with a performance of Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra. Elgar's Sea Pictures with Elizabeth Benedetto and Debussy's Prelude a L'apres-midi d'un faune complete the programme.

Bring your chairs, picnic and champagne to enjoy the renowned Southampton Concert Orchestra at the Romsey Festival Gala Concert. Conducted by Paul Ingram and featuring music from Elgar, Gershwin, Parry, Coates, Tchaikovsky and many more, this promises to be a fantastic evening of music at the Gardens.

Grieg Piano Concerto and Dvořák Symphony No 9 "From the New World"


Southampton Concert Orchestra return to Romsey Abbey with a hugely popular programme of classical music including the Grieg Piano concerto, Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" and Sibelius's Andante festivo. We welcome Madeleine Brown, winner of the Kent International Piano Competition as soloist in the Grieg.
